***ABOUT CHEF LEMOINE ***
Chef Leon Lemoine was born and raised in South Louisiana and has been exposed to good food and cooking his entire life. First while growing up fishing and hunting and learning to cook all of the fresh seafood and game that was harvested and later during his twenty five years in the restaurant business as a chef. After a decade long break from professional cooking, he recently relocated to the mountains of North Georgia and decided to get back into the catering he loves.
He has been an executive chef for a number of different restaurants and private clubs in Louisiana. He was co-owner of an upscale Creole seafood restaurant and another casual barbecue restaurant and grill. He also served as corporate chef for two different companies and oversaw kitchen operations for a number of different concepts in five states.
Chef Leon is classically trained and proficient in all types of cooking from fine plated meals to outdoor grilling. He will present some Louisiana Cajun and Creole specialties as well as many other types of foods.

WHAT THEY ARE SAYING ABOUT TIGER MOUNTAIN
AND THE RED BARN CAFÉ
"This gets 5 stars from me! One of the nicest Rosé in a long time! Summer in Georgia at it's best. Highly recommended!!!"|
"Definitely off the beaten path, but well worth it. Drove through here looking for wineries on our way to Atlanta and what a find. The Red Barn restaurant is absolutely adorable, and everyone working there was so warm and friendly. The views are gorgeous, and the wine is delicious. What more could you ask for!"
"As my husband and I pulled up to Tiger Mountain Vineyards, my mind immediately flashed back to where I was the year before- CA wine country. The tasting room has been described as "Napa Sheek". If you have time and the weather is nice, buy a bottle to enjoy at the picnic tables out back overlooking the red barn and vineyards. I will certainly be back again!"

Kerbe wrote a five star review last week on www.weddingwire.com
"We completely stumbled upon Tiger Mountain Vineyards on a mini vacation to North Georgia. When we heard they did weddings, we looked into it. Lisa, the manager, and her staff were so welcoming and sweet! We had a fabulous lunch by their chef and got a tour of the grounds. Since we committed to using their vineyard as our venue, Lisa has done everything she can to be accommodating to our needs and wants. We are planning from Florida, so it is a bit more difficult to plan, but she has definitely helped put us at ease. Whether planning a wedding or just want great wine and food, visit TMV! "

|Beautifully refurbished, the 80-year-old Red Barn at Tiger Mountain was once a dairy barn where TMV founder, the late Dr. John Ezzard, milked cows as a boy. While the café has not resumed food service due to COVID, it is open every weekend for guests to enjoy (at the café or patio tables) the spectacular vineyard view and a glass of wine or wine flight and cheese plates from the Tasting Room. There is live music most Saturday afternoons from 1 to 3 p.m. on the Red Barn patio -as weather permits- and with the purchase of a bottle of wine, or a wine flight, guests may enjoy music and may also bring a picnic if they wish. Distanced seating is provided at picnic tables on the surrounding green.|
Starting in May, a number of casual lunches as well as periodic barbecue or sliders from the grill will be scheduled. Popular Louisiana Chef Leon LeMoine will offer lunch every two weeks on Saturdays, starting June 29 through October 2. Reservations are required for all Red Barn lunches. Check the Events page of this web site or call the Tasting Room for the latest details: 706-782-4777.
