Vineyard Manager Lisa Ezzard punches down the "cap" (grape skins) on the fermenting 2019 Malbec! The dry, sunny season has resulted in a bountiful harvest of some of our favorite varietals. The red wines need to ferment in the barrel for 12 to 16 months, but the good news is the whites will be ready to bottle next March! Our Estate Viognier, of which we've been sold out for several months, is outstanding! We are taking pre-orders now to reserve a case - 706-782-4777.
STROLL THROUGH THE VINEYARDS AND SEE THE BEGINNING OF HARVEST (Check out the beautiful estate grown Viognier on the Events page!) Stop in the Production Room at the winery and see crushing and/or fermentation!
Saturday, September 14: Live saxophone music in the Tasting Room 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.!! No admission charge. Gourmet cheeses and wine tastings. Buy two bottles or more of wine and enter a drawing for a bottle of the newly released TNT (Touriga Nacional-Tannat).
Join us Saturday, September 28, for our annual harvest celebration. Make reservations before September 23rd to take advantage of "early bird" prices. THE FOXFIRE BOYS will entertain and Chef Leon Lemoine will serve his special JAMBALAYA along with our usual salad, artisan cheeses, breads, and dessert. Grape picking by guests (optional) is 9:30 to 11:30, prior to the party. This year, we are inviting our non wine club customers to the harvest party --- but admission for wine club will be at the discounted rate, as always. Wine Club members will also receive 30% off on all case sales that day. Others can receive 20%. Call the Tasting Room for more details and to make your pre-paid reservations. 706-782-4777!

About Tiger Mountain Vineyards
Owned by the Ezzard family and their partners John and Marilyn McMullan, Tiger Mountain Vineyards produces red and white wines from 100% Georgia-grown grapes in Rabun County. Our 10 acres of vines, planted in 1995 and 1996 on the Ezzards' five-generation-old family farm, are nestled on the rolling sunny slopes of Tiger Mountain where they are individually tended and hand-picked. Our wines, mostly European vinifera, are found in every major city in Georgia and have won more than 195 awards. Our vineyards and tasting room are open year round.
