Our Dahlonega tasting room is thoughtfully operated by two local creatives with a shared passion for wine, hospitality, and cultivating meaningful experiences in the heart of Dahlonega.
Sonja Heisinger brings a distinctive artistic vision to the space, blending her background in fine art, storytelling, and hospitality to create an atmosphere that feels both elevated and deeply welcoming. Her passion for community, aesthetics, and meaningful connection helped shape the tasting room into the unique destination it is today.
Alongside her is Kristine Richardson, a fellow creative and wine enthusiast whose warmth and love for the local arts community help make every guest feel at home. Together, they’ve cultivated a tasting room experience that feels personal, artistic, and intentionally different from the traditional winery setting.

Our latest vintage of Petit Manseng is making waves 🌊 This incredibly complex and aromatic white wine is what we like to call the red drinker’s white. Full-bodied and aged for 9 months in French oak, it exhibits notes of pineapple, guava, and vanilla, with a soft, lingering finish of “Wow” 🤩

12 years ago today, I lost my mom and dad in a car accident. As I processed through my grief, I wrote a collection of short stories about love, loss, and finding your way home again. In one week, I’m going to do something I’ve never done before… I’m going to read one of those stories aloud from Anthology: Love Stories Inspired by Country Music. The story is called “Blue Christmas”, and it’s about a woman who loses everything in the crash of ‘08. She returns to her little hometown at Christmas to pick up the pieces of her life and reconnect with the man she left behind.

We got our hands on some VERY special, limited-batch sparkling rosé from Tiger Mountain Vineyards. Pétillant Naturel Rosé was crafted using ancestral French methods with 100% estate-grown Cabernet Franc grapes. Only 16 cases were produced… and Sips got two of them.
